Table 2–30 lists the voltage regulator components and the manufacturing information.

Banana Jacks and Fuses

In addition to the power supplied by the regulators, several power rails can be

directly supplied by an external bench-top power supply through the on-board

banana jacks (J2–J4, J7, J9–J10). Figure 2–11 illustrates how the external power is

allowed in through the banana jacks by first removing the fuses (F1–F3, F6, F7, F84)

associated with the power rail to be externally supplied.

c Failure to remove the associated fuses (F1–F3, F6, F7, F84) or improperly setting the

external supply voltages too high can result in damage to the board.

Table 2–31 summarizes the banana jacks and fuses associated with each power rail

that can be supplied by external power.
